The Trans-Siberian Orchestra West band brought its legendary 2025 "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" tour to Colorado Springs, CO, for dual performances at the Broadmoor World Arena on Sunday, November 16. Illuminate Drones delivered our signature dual indoor drone light show segments, ensuring the Colorado Springs audience witnessed the same next-generation spectacle as the rest of the tour.

Adapting the highly detailed TSO production, which includes a complex indoor drone show, to the unique specifications of the Broadmoor World Arena requires meticulous technical planning. Our system executed two precise flight segments during both the matinee and evening shows.

Segment One: Dozens of Drones for "Dream of Candlelight"

Our first deployment during the second half of the show was for the emotional core of the rock opera, "Dream of Candlelight." We utilized a fleet of dozens of drones, flying them high over the audience, positioned above front of house.

This indoor drone light show created large, unified drone show designs that perfectly complemented the live vocalist below. The fleet of dozens of drones established an expansive, moving canvas of light that maximized the verticality of the Broadmoor World Arena, adding immense visual weight to this powerful TSO track.

Segment Two: High-Octane Drones for "Wish Liszt"

Approximately 25 minutes later, we returned with an aggressive, high-energy drone light show for "Wish Liszt (Toy Shop Madness)." This sequence is all about dynamic integration with the stage action.

As two guitarists played from an elevated stage lift, our dozens of drones flew complex, high-speed paths around and below them. A key highlight for the Colorado Springs crowd was the precision flying that saw the drones move underneath the operating lift as the musicians were mid-performance. This daring execution integrates the drone light show directly with the live band action, transforming "Wish Liszt" into a multi-sensory highlight of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra production.
