Council Bluffs Tour Launch: Illuminate Drones Delivers Spectacular Indoor Drone Light Shows for TSO

The 2025 "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" tour kicked off with explosive success last Thursday, November 13, at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA. Illuminate Drones was tasked with elevating the production scale, successfully deploying an indoor drone light show segment during the second half of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra performance.

Integrating dynamic drone light show deployments into an active rock arena environment demands absolute precision, and the tour launch in Council Bluffs was flawless. This is the new standard for TSO concert technology.

Segment One: 34 Drones Define "Dream of Candlelight"

Our first contribution brought a sweeping visual element to the performance of "Dream of Candlelight." We utilized 34 drones, flying them in carefully synchronized patterns positioned high over front of house.

This positioning allowed the large drone formation to be the primary visual centerpiece, interacting with the single live performer on stage. The fleet of 34 drones created stunning, unified three-dimensional light structures that dramatically amplified the song's depth, offering the Council Bluffs audience a truly unique, immersive experience. This was a critical element of the TSO 2025 show.

The Council Bluffs opening night demonstrated the seamless integration of our indoor drone light technology with TSO's legendary production. We're proud to bring this level of spectacle to every city on the tour.
