The Trans-Siberian Orchestra East band made a memorable stop in Greensboro, NC, performing at the First Horizon Coliseum on Thursday, November 20. Illuminate Drones executed the demanding dual-segment indoor drone light show that is a hallmark of the 2025 "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve" tour.

Delivering this complex indoor drone show requires detailed technical integration to maximize visual impact within the First Horizon Coliseum. Our system performed two critical light segments during the TSO rock opera.

Segment One: Dozens of Drones for "Dream of Candlelight"

Our first contribution during the concert's second half was a dramatic visual layer for "Dream of Candlelight." We utilized a fleet of dozens of drones, which flew high over the front of house seating area.

This indoor drone light show generated synchronized drone show designs that added an expansive, emotional dimension to the single live performer on stage. The dozens of drones created unified light designs that filled the upper reaches of the First Horizon Coliseum, setting a powerful tone for this part of the show.

Segment Two: High-Energy Drones for "Wish Liszt"

Approximately 25 minutes later, the show ramped up with the high-intensity drone light show for the instrumental "Wish Liszt (Toy Shop Madness)." This segment is designed for dynamic integration with the band's performance.

As two guitarists ascended on a stage lift, our dozens of drones executed complex, fast-paced flight patterns around the platform. A key technical requirement was the controlled flying that took the drones underneath the operating lift as the musicians played. This close-quarters proximity flying ensures the indoor drone show is a fully integrated, high-impact visual element of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra performance.
