Las Vegas Added a Drone Show to New Year's Eve

When Las Vegas rang in 2026, the fireworks had company. For the first time, a 600-drone show lit up the sky near the Strip on New Year's Eve.

A first for Las Vegas New Year's Eve

Launched from the Event Plaza near Wynn Las Vegas, the 600-drone show painted the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, the city skyline with a rotating 2026, a spinning roulette wheel, and a slot machine, before a red, white, and blue finale kicked off America's 250th year. It ran alongside a rooftop fireworks display by Fireworks by Grucci.
